Global Enhanced Security Update!

Great! To transfer your domain to our Godaddy account:

1)Go to https://dcc.godaddy.com/domains
2) Click on your domain name
3) Scroll down to additional settings and click on Transfer domain to another GoDaddy account

(4) On the next screen enter:
Recipient’s email address: sdennis@chartlocal.com
Godaddy Customer #:136685800

Do you want to copy the current domain contact information to the new account? (Answer YES)

5) Click send transfer request

1) Please ask your current registrar for a transfer authorization code (EPP)
2) Turn off Privacy
3) Unlock the domain

OR you can login to your registrar and do this yourself

Perfect: All you need to do is:

1) Export the current DNS Zone File and give to Chartlocal and we will set it up on our nameserver.

Start by going to My Domains, click your domain name, click Manage DNS.

On Godaddy, it is on this page https://dcc.godaddy.com/control/yourdomain.com/dns?plid=1 (substitute youdomain.com with yours)

2) Next, scroll down on the same page, and change the Nameservers to:

ns1.linode.com.
ns2.linode.com.
ns3.linode.com.
ns4.linode.com.
ns5.linode.com.

3) Send your zone file OR a screenshot of your DNS records in the form below.

Each registrar has similar but different process to delegate access, but usually it is in your account settings: It will ask for an email address of the new administrator.

• Then, scroll down and click 'Delegate Access'



• Next, under 'People who can access my account", click 'Invite to access.'



• Finally, enter Name: Chris Carlton

(1) You will need to edit the current @ A record to point to 141.193.213.10 (some hosts consider a blank the same as @), TTL is lowest value.

(2) Then add a second @ A record and point it to 141.193.213.11 (some hosts consider a blank the same as @), TTL is lowest value.

(3) Then, add a www CNAME record that I will give you after I create a new VHost .
